This year's National Day holiday extends for four days (from August 31 to September 3), marking the last long break of the year and a great opportunity for travel both domestically and abroad, especially for families with children about to start the new school year.

Sa Pa district in the northwestern province of Lao Cai welcomed 47,000 visitors from August 30 to September 2 during the National Day holiday, 15,000 more than the same period last year.
